Organize Salik and Darb vehicle records

Keeping toll records in separate statements can make a vehicle account harder to review. We discuss organizing Salik and Darb records alongside your operational information while preserving the source reference, transaction date and review status.

Capture enough source information

Identify the vehicle, transaction date, statement source, external transaction reference where available and recorded amount. Transaction time helps when a customer or plate changes during a period. Separate source data from internal notes, and retain a way to trace the statement when imported totals differ from expected totals.

Review before assigning a charge

Importing a transaction does not automatically approve a customer charge. Review its vehicle association and usage period against supporting records and the actual agreement. Imported, under review, approved and settled are possible internal statuses to discuss; they are not statuses issued by an official authority.

Scope entry and integration methods

The process may start with manual entry or files obtained through an authorized method. We review source formats, duplicate prevention and update handling before agreeing implementation. Automatic retrieval from Salik or Darb is not promised. Any integration’s availability, permitted use and cost require a separate assessment.

A practical checklist

  • A sample statement with sensitive information removed from each source.
  • A plate, source and date matching rule for vehicle identification.
  • A transaction reference or field combination for duplicate checks.
  • An owner for reviewing discrepancies and documenting settlement.
